Wednesday 29th June

This is a unique opportunity to dip your toes into the world of Holistic Management and Planned Grazing, and explore it's potential to enhance your farming/land management practice. We are incredibly fortunate to have a selection of high calibre presenters from varying backgrounds, who will discuss and demonstrate the benefits of a Holistic approach to farming and land management and how it can return benefits at a farm as well as catchment scale - and within management structures too. We are also expecting a broad spectrum of experienced attendees, so this will be an integrated learning experience and we trust that as with our other events, the networking potential will be as invaluable as the learning.

This day is also part of HMI’s Open Gate Learning Series, and as such sponsored by them for which we are very grateful. Open Gates are peer-to-peer action-based learning days with short presentations and small group exercises geared for participants to share discoveries and management techniques with guidance from experienced facilitators and producers.

Whether you are an agricultural producer, a consumer interested in nutrient-dense food, farmer, beekeeper, local agency representative, or just interested in farming, land stewardship, and land, animal, or human health, this day is for you.

Well the Feedback we got was very complimentary (and it was fully booked - 40 plus presenters). Fortunately the rain was worst in the afternoon when we were inside (a gazebo - not planned and not intended; due to building we'd booked not being finished and me not being told until the thursday before), but still folk seemed to go away very inspired and empowered; considering what's next now.
