Home made goat milk feeder

Hello, have an opportunity of getting hold of a large group of a couple of day old goat kids to rear on on Milk powder

I’m looking at making a home-made shepherdess feeder, part idea is to get one of the blue plastic oil drums cut it down and put them tears and return valve system (same as the Shepherd bucket has) so can feed with hope 15-20 at a time.
these little valves and the tubing seem to be fairly expensive, in the region of nearly £9 each roughly on the Internet, just wondering if anybody else has come up with an alternative way of doing it yes granted could probably find them around about a fiver instead, but overall buying quite a few is going to add up and take a fair bit of the costings out,
Much appreciated any input always anybody else has got around this, obviously obviously by doing it with a non-return valve I can pour the milk in and again the little fish tank heater to keep the milk warm, if it was then yes we’ll just do it that I put the feed in for them three times a day by pouring it in if the heater does not work out, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t finding one that’s for a large fish tank.
Anyway without whittling on, I’ll see what somebody possibly comes up with 😃😃 thank you for the read and thanks in advance for anybody that comes up with any solutions😊😊
