Our own rape drill now been in use for 3 seasons with fantastic results. Built using Great Plains ST bar and disc counters, the rest is our design.
Could do with an air seeder on it really but the home made box does work well and is verry accurate.
Currently in the workshop having disk openers made and fitted to reduce surface disturbance. Was thinking of building a few for sale, would anyone be interested??

I've been toying with the idea of making us some rolls. What sort of money did they cost you to build?

All in for materials only they cost about £8000 including the rings, breakers and bearings from Agri cast, which were £4500 alone, also including two new rams, steel, wheels tyres, hubs, paint, hoses and electrics etc. As for labour dificult to say it was a fill in job at the time. They are however in my opinion a good investment as they are Taylor made to how we wanted to use them.
