Homemade livestock trailer

As the subject suggests, has any one on here, or knows of someone who has built their own tractor drawn livestock trailer?
Pictures would be appreciated.

I extended a cattle/ sheep container , fitted new decks replaced plywood with check plate fitted hydronic rear door and painted it, fair amount of work but I like a project because it’s always a learning curve this job taught me how to weld alloy .

He's up in the hills with narrow roads and the boxes cost less than £350 each. Fixed up and on the trailer in less than a day

Yes not criticising. Bateson and GE make a tractor drawn one like that

I put together one a few years ago ...its 28'...three deck sheep...tri axles... air suspension, airframes. Bought second hand box, trailer was a commercial drag....little bit of alteration to the drawbar... lengthened it a bit at the front

I got a 24ft drawbar trailer on air and cut six foot off the back and put the 18foot box off our 7.5t wagon. Rides lovely at 50k

I'll take one soon....looked and looked on my phone but couldn't find one...cost £3000 for the box....£2400 for the trailer plus the extra bits and pieces in alternations.... Tows nice...a little bit drawbar light....could do with a ball and spoon hitch ...would be great.

In an ideal world.....works very well ....we've a 24 ' bale trailer that wouldn't be half as handy..... We've moved thousands of lambs with it over the last 5 or 6 years.....as well as cattle

Just looks like it will hotter on the hook like that? I always like a bit weight on the draw bar makes tractors sit better and grip but I have steep hills to contend with

There was an article box and trailer advertised...wonder how it would work by cutting the front off at the step......would give around 28/30 '....it was a 2 deck cattle... the thought kind of scared be a bit

You don't have to fill it to capacity though.
