Hi all ! I’ve just taken ownership of a 08 Horsch pronto ... first thing to find was discs dropping quite quickly and one scriber lifting upright when Tractor stopped!! Found oring in one valve chest needing replacement.. but it didn’t make any difference... it’s my first Horsch so a novice ! Thanks for any possible help...

When you lift the wings up there should be a little valve block underneath each marker arm, they may need changing. We had the same problem, swapped both marker valves and replaced some O rings in main valve block, not cured it totally but a lot better. Don’t be afraid to ring horsch up and speech to you area sales person, they have been really helpful to me. On a different note when you have lowered your drill into work and pressured the system/put the marker out make sure you put the spool valve into float or you may end up with the metering unit stopping now and again for a few seconds.... if you have a muller control box when you calibrate it you will get a calibration figure, make a not of that figure. Then if you end up swapping from one seed to another you won’t have to recalibrate the drill every time, you can just type the figure in from when you calibrated the drill with that seed before.

Sound a bit like the O-rings in the marker valves as mentioned, I have a p/n somewhere of an MF o-ring that fits in them perfect.
Once had marker ram seals causing the marker to creep out when sitting, also making the drill drop.

You could swap the marker valves over from left to right and see if the problem swaps sides, if it doesn’t swap the marker rams over, this should narrow the problem down. If you get a rainy day I recommend putting some tyre weld in the wheelers under the drill, they are a pain to change if you get a puncture, might be worth checking you have an Alan key that fits the wheel bearings right in the middle of the drill just in case you get a puncture. I would run the tyres no less than 25psi or the tyres flex and crack on the inside and nip the tube.
