I just put it in the hms so it lowered the wheel on the front tank 4 meters before lowering the drill and lifted it 6 meters before it lifted. Took a while to get used to pressing the button before you wanted to lift the drill, but one I got used to it worked out fine.

Mine is a bit different as the front links run in float with the hopper riding on its wheels- the landwheel just engages when you drop the hopper down.

That's also a way of doing it, but wouldn't be able to get up the hills without the weight on the tractor.

I have four valves, one for lifting, one for markers, one for fan on the front hopper, and the last one had a divider on for lifting front linkage / wheel on hopper. And then folding drill into the same with a couple of valves on to close it.

But now with the sprinter I have now I only need one double, a single and a free return.

The system seems to have worked ok so far - this the same field, with spring oats at 140kgs with 100kgs dap in the front tank.

I then tried and experiment of some hs beans in the main tank and spring barley in the front, which was a bit less successful as the beans are a bit patchy and vanish in some rows. I think may be a result though of the beans being a very dirty sample straight off the heap with lots of bits of pod etc, which may have been blocking up the head!
