Horsch sprinter drill error

I’m getting an error on my sprinter today “motor 1 stopped”

Took the motor off and the barrel seemed to be turning ok, put the motor back on and ran the seed purge button and it did this ok. Got back into field and straight away came back with the same error.

Will try and run a calibration tomorrow to see if that works but if not, what else should I look at?

The speed sensor is integrated in the motor - and may have failed. What type of box do you have - Agtron or Mueller ?

Yes it’s a muller box.

Spoke to Horsch service this morning and he said it was either low voltage or knackered motor.
I checked the wires and all seemed ok so went and borrowed @dirty harry motor off his drill and it worked fine. So local Horsch dealer had one on the shelf and at £400 didn’t think that was too bad.

Not sure if it’s possible to get the old one repaired anywhere? Could be handy as a spare!
