horstine cascade

hi,

been looking at a horstine cascade which has its control box missing, i was lead to beleive that its hydraulic drive to the rollers and control box has a big knob to vary the feed speed and a couple of switches to stop each side.
is it all electric? im sure i read about someone installing a manual variable restrictor in the hyd drive then using that, presumably you could just stop the oil flow for on/ off.

anybody with experience shed any light on this for me please?

thanks

Ours is wired though a manual two way switch at the minute as the dial part burned out, it's a shared earth and you power it which ever way you want to turn it.

Booms are the same just power the solenoid and it shuts the boom off

Alternatively manually set the valve by turning the motor but make sure the tractors up to temp or it'll change once you get going.

Also ring horstine they are really helpful and still have a few bits left for the older machines
