hot spot tape

going to put polythene on my polytunnel soon....just wondering how hot spot tape will adhear this weather and if there are any alternatives?

If you warm the steel just ahead of the tape with a blowtorch it will be fine. You will see the steel dry. Keep the tape warm for a day before too and only bring one roll out at a time

No prob! When sheeting the tunnel if its cold it may be a good idea to drape the plastic over the frame then run a space heater inside before tensioning the plastic. Its a bugger when it sags on the first warm day.....

Try to pick a sunny day it makes heck of a distance,use the wider 50 mm hotspot tape cover more of the tube less rubbing

Would never dream of putting a tunnel up at this time of year. Have done it once as I lost a tunnel in a winter storm which had to be replaced. Within 6 months it was so slack it shredded itself.
