How big does my generator have to be?

Me and the other half and getting married next year. The venue will be a marquee in a field with panoramic views of the Devonian countryside. I will need enough power for a kitchen, refrigeration, lights and other assorted electrics. Any ideas?

Any reputable electrician/generator hire firm will be able to tell you. My electrician hires out, he supplied one for a Status Quo concert locally recently, but was surprised when he had a call to say that it was struggling. The two tour buses had mahoosive air con units which they hadn’t told him about!

The marquee company will supply them but remember to get 2 as you need a backup if one goes down

Catering company will tell you what they need what ever total is I would add a few kvas on top
