How do I work out what size generator I need to run a space heater?

I have been offered a Master BV 290 space heater. How do I work out what size generator I need to “start it”, and run it. I am considering purchasing the space heater to use in the shed I rent,which has no electricity. Thanks for any info.

It says that it needs 1,06kW of electric power, so anything with fuses of atleast 6A will be enough if it's 230V.

Your milage may vary, I've had trouble getting a space heater to work at all off a generator.

Somehow the heater didn't like it.
