Stock do make it hard for an extended break away though...

i get away for bits and pieces… and Mrs Czech gets away for bits and pieces.
But, since we have had the cows; never together

My Mrs is a driving force!
She works all week and then wants to be doing farm work at the weekend

My missus works 3 days a week and watches telly the rest of the time. It would be nice if she helped out on the farm more but on the other hand she lets me do whatever I want so blessings are counted.
Why does it take so much time? Do you work all weekend because you have to or because you leave jobs in the week?

Housed ewes are fed 3 times a day seven days a week
Then there’s bedding plus the outside ewes and the cows
Then all the other jobs ( put off with weather) fences to fix walls repairs etc
Why do you feed 3 times a day? We have to cake twice a day now they are on the final fortnight and kg a day. Only silage in the morning and push up in afternoon except for Sunday when they don’t get done.

Amusingly enough we actually bought equipment as we were getting out, mostly so that people didn't take pee.

We had an Aussie woman work for us and she asked if she could pressure wash the collecting yard every day so she could see the water. She came from a dry bit.
