How high does a shed need to be to tip an artic?

What are you hoping to tip? Have tipped grain in 20' sheds, it gets spread about a bit amd you have to watch the roof so by no means ideal.
As you suggested tip in the door, walking floor trailers pit and elevator?

Our grainstore is 18feet to the eves, we have tipped an artic load of grain in there with care (it is higher in the middle - door in the end) in an emergency.

The driver said that they often do this, he reckoned that if it won't all come out for a start then he goes outside, tips it up with the back shut and then backs in a bit and opens the back - he reckoned that it was still much quicker than queuing at the docks to tip in 2 minutes.

Our grain store is only 16ft to eaves and we have a load of protein pellets and a load of supaflow beet nuts tipped in it every year. Normally comes out alright. Had to tip in doorway one year when they'd collected load on Friday afternoon and delivered Monday morning, load had set in the trailer a bit!

for odd loads of feed 14' would do, if you can get a telehandler or similar inside. Just tip in the door way and move with a bucket. Done it on loads of farms. In my grain store you can tip an artic to the top at any point though.
