How long before biggest dealers pack up

With the way things are and no improvement on the horizon ,how long will it be before a huge dealer shuts up shop.they mostly got very large expensive premises and massive stocks of parts and machines but they will be suffering the same as the smaller dealers.seems to be a weekly occurrence of dealers closing shop.Deere,agco and cnh won’t subsidise these company’s for ever.have seen on social media earlier about a huge jd dealer having possible issues already.

3 dolla corn in usa, just relesased 800 plus hp track tractor, with the most pathetic videos on the benefits, school yard selling.

They will all need to improve there game to stay relevant, it would be the demise of many if every sale is a bulk corporate sale as they go on price of other colours and sell farms regularly.

The price of the stuff is horrendous imo.

I think if you look at there sales data numbers, countries without subs the sLes volume is low...like oz.

Or is government subsidy money supposed to end up in the hands of multinational businesses and put away offshore? The likes of Yara, BASF, John Deere being the ultimate beneficiary? That makes no sense.

Yes, but that's not really the question.. It's inevitable that as farms "consolidate", so do their suppliers, and it's not a new process.

Judging by the fact that Chandlers have just invoiced me £850 for Labour on a 600 hour service, I expect they will be going for a while if people are willing to pay it!!
Will certainly be having a word with them when I get back off holiday

Most franchised main dealers labour is £85/90 even £100 an hour now.
Thats not sustainable neither.
They all keep adding there costs on but we cant.

Sheep prices have risen quite a bit recently...

But all you see on FB is the butchers saying lamb is now too expensive, they cannot stock it, it needs to be cheaper as they have high costs running their shops etc etc and can farmers help them out by selling them lambs well below their market value!

Both farm suppliers and customers expect farmers to absorb the extra cost increases that both sides have yet do not seem to understand that this is just not sustainable for farmers to be able to do for very long!

Plenty of our non native too uk friends (Trying to say this the right way) are still buying Lamb in one form or another so crack on.
yes as much as we like to source some of the better cuts from butchers around us & there are a few of them but mind its not cheap.
Needless too say the supermarkets get a slice of my food budget but its all UK meat or so the RT or Union jack flag says it is
