How long before you see one of these down the Mart

They haven’t announced any RH drive versions (yet). They are doing a refundable $1000 deposit preorder for 2020 delivery if anyone fancies a private import

If one uses the Tesla model 3 pricing for the battery packs @ $190 per kWh of capacity (currently one of the best price/performance packs in the market) then the production cost for battery pack alone on the 180 kWh version is over $34,000

I doubt you'd get much change out of £65K...if not a LOT more.

Is that the Tesla one?

How have you got on with it?
Very well. Very different obviously in many ways to a diesel or petrol vehicle. But I'm fairly open minded, so didn't take long to adapt. I don't mind not queuing and importantly not paying at the forecourt. They are a luxury car, there is no doubt, but they cost a fraction to run. Currently working out at around 3.7p per mile

I would imagine that if a uk spec version ever came about it would have a gross weight of 3500kg and a train weight of 7000kg any more and it would require operators licences and such.

It's not a practical work vehicle it's just another toy for the super rich, why does it need to go 0-60 in three seconds.
Someday in the future there are going to be practical, affordable utility vehicles but we ain't got there yet.

Just a pity the technology is so expensive ..............
I didn't read the blurb properly:

Preorder the R1T™ Truck to experience the thrill of navigating the world in an Electric Adventure Vehicle™. Starting price of $61,500 after Federal Tax rebate. Range of 250+ to 400+ miles.

PLEASE NOTE:
Preorders require a deposit of $1,000. Production will begin in 2020. Fully-equipped vehicles with the highest performance level and largest battery pack will enter production first. Our 180 kWh and 135 kWh packs will be available at launch, with the base variant to follow within 12 months of the start of production. You can cancel your preorder and receive a full refund at any time by sending an email to [email protected]. You should receive your refund within approximately three business days.

The Federal Tax Rebate for electric cars in the states is currently $7,500

The so called base model - a bit unclear whether this would be the 135 kWh version that's available at launch or the yet to be introduced 105 kWh "base variant" available 6 months later (I think it's going to be the latter) - is $69,000 before any rebates etc.

If they charge an additional $500 to $1000 per kWh for the bigger battery, then I reckon the 180 kWh version would be well over $100,000
