How many lambs?

How may 8-9 month old lambs can I put in a 12ft square stable? I need to hold some overnight in a secure place before taking to market the next day!

I’m guessing 45-50 but they won’t have any space so probably 25/30 to be realistic with a bucket of water? This is working off a 12x6 sheep trailer holding 20-25 per deck on ultra short movements

25, maybe less if they are a decent size. I've used similar stables several times to hold lambs the night before they're loaded. If they're going to the mart, you'll need to pay particular attention that they get some hay or something or they'll weigh badly and won't look great standing empty.

Best just to get them in and try them.They need to be well bedded to keep them clean and as mentioned above best with something to eat and drink so they look and weigh half decent.
