So would it be fair to say 250kg AN at 33.5% , per hectare per annum would be "normal" ?
Hi Student101. I am being picky but only to help you avoid confusion.
You say "250kg AN". If you apply that per hectare that will give you 84kgs/ha of Nitrogen. It would be fair to say 250 kg/ha of Nitrogen is a reasonable average on winter wheat but if you are using a 33.5% Ammonium Nitrate this represents 746 kgs of product (Ammonium Nitate) per hectare.
