I am 6’ and 14 stone , little plump nurse at the Drs surgery said “ your obese “ I though cheeky cow wants to look in a mirror
I think it's strange that so many nursing and ancillary staff in hospitals/GP surgeries are seriously overweight and unfit, not only must it be an inconvenience to their work but also they see the problems people encounter with being too fat and unfit.
And for the record I'm 6'4" and 18 stone, that's morbidly obese they tell me, I've been that weight this past 30 odd years.

Nurses are highly stressed
That leads to fat

I've spent more time these last couple of years in optical waiting rooms and heart ECG places than in the whole of my life before , and that'a a thing that's struck me , the fact that so many nurses are grossly fat. I do make an honourable exception however in the case of a lot of really tiny Indian nurses , who mostly seem to be in the eye business , and who are quite petite .

I've spent more time in hospital waiting rooms for the last few weeks than I would have liked. I too have noticed how a significant number of staff are the size of a house.

I ordered a goose for Christmas and was told "We will see what we can do". I wanted something a bit more definite than that!
Anyway, further to my time spent in waiting rooms it looks like Christmas is going to be a bit miserable this year so I cancelled the goose and had roast lamb for Christmas dinner with the family last Saturday instead. M&S leg of lamb and I think it was from Lanarkshire. Very nice it was too.
