We do work on organic farms and they can grow 8 to 10 tons of first cut grass at 32%dm , timing is the answer for these farmers
Growing 13tondm a year with slurry only for years, from are our experiences, I can grow enough extra to pay for a dribble bar and it's running cost

one things for certain, we have all got to get used to much greater regulations, on spreading shite, only when the crops need it, and no splash plate, l think those designing the new regs, have zero practical experience. At least one idea got binned, insisting slurry/muck, had to be incorporated within 24 hours. Wonder how much grant aide will be rolling around, when they announce it.
The plus side, many will learn there are benefits from using slurry/muck, especially with the cost of N.
On docks, how many of us spray around our lagoons, docks deposit their seeds, in the ideal carrier, which we then distribute very effectively.

There’s an Irish company advertising at the top of this thread. I’m pretty sure their trailing shoe kit won’t be £20k
Which company is that, I cant see it? My contractor had a quote for a dribble bar at 15,000 to me it makes more sense to have a trailing shoe for an extra 5 as once the splash plate is gone the dribble bar will be next on 5he hit list from what I can gather :/

Most importantly, the liquid manure lands on the plants instead of under them if the dribble bar system is being used on grassland or growing crops. Trailing shoes penetrate the ground at the base of the plants, then distribute the liquid manure
