How much pressure disc drill

How much down pressure weight does a disc coulter need when it’s really dry and a headland (hard as) In a direct drill situation. This must be very similar for all makes.

Depends on the disc diameter. Generally between 200 to 300 kg.

Also depends on depth too, but due size has a very big effect. I put 18" on an older unidrill and was nearly alway on the limit till they wore down to about the standard 16" size. That was around 160 kg per disc unladen.
