on the basis of this survey 45 to 50% of uk wheat planted

the rest will be a struggle i suspect that a lot of the easier land has been planted
without a clear dry spell there will be less wheat than last year

About 5 th drilled but I suspect that will rot .400 ml of rain in the last 6 weeks ,normally would of had 60 ml approx.Normally get about 800 ml/year so half of it in the last 6 weeks.Biblical last night and today with water covering most of the recently drilled fields.Not good.

Pretty much the same here. All in by 10th Oct last year and 40% fooked by the end of Oct.
This year all bar 20 acres in by 25th September and finished on 4th Oct.
But all went in into much better conditions this year than last, even though about 4% already pretty fooked. Reasonably confident about the rest.
Beans went in on 7th. At least 2 more deluges since then, but I’m hopeful.

What is left is in AB6.
I don’t think there would be any chance of planting into that now:
