How to properly tension sheep shears

I decided this year to purchase a horner rambo to shear myself and was wondering if anyone had any tips on what the proper tension is for shearing.

tip i got off here was when you hold the shears in you hand old them by the tightening screw/top and let the weight of the shears tighten it down, this varies when they are hot as they expand a bit so bit slacker than that.

other thing is i believe you should be able to push the blade over with your thumb obviously with some effort if you cant its to tight

Back the tension off a bit from the point where the sound changes.

That should get you about spot on. Sometimes just a tiny fine tune needed though
