I walked outside this afternoon to fetch the cows up and my face started to melt in the sun. Milking has just been ridiculous. Each cow is like a furnace.

I'm not complaining one little bit, but I do have a lot sympathy for everyone milking cows in this weather it's truly horrible , the milkers hate it and so do the cows , have the flies arrived yet ?
Here all the cattle are lying in the cubicles all day ( soft b##tards )
It climbed to 33 degrees in the butchery unit, with 3 large fans going. I would have stripped to my kecks but the risk with knives and sticky out bits is too high...
It's a touch warm. Kids are feeling it-they all seem to have a touch of hayfever and are a tad under the weather Milking isn't the most pleasant of jobs at the mo and the calves are supping gallon after gallon of water which is all to handball to the hutches Other than that, the washing is dry in no time at all
It's so hot here that I joined the kids in the pool after I was done baling. . Even Mrs LBP went in for her impression of ' decoy for a whaling fleet'!
Lets hope for your sake she doesn't look at this thread
