The most recent Private Eye (No. 1482) has an item on page 32.
I can't manage to attach it as a file, sorry. Bit frustrating, because there's a good cartoon with it.

Headline: Billy Goat Gruff Shot By Wicked Witch.

The last two paragraphs go: ... "The Huntress insisted she'd done nothing wrong and that the killing of Mr. Goat Gruff was in self-defence, saying, "It was him or me. If I hadn't pulled the trigger on my high-calibre, assault sniper rifle, then he would have trip-trapped all over me."

When it was pointed out by Little Billy Goat Gruff that the contest was somewhat unfair, given that no goat would have been able to spot her in her ridiculously over-the-top disruptive camouflage combat gear, the blonde huntress smiled sweetly and shot him."

There follows a "Late News" addendum, which includes, "Airborne cow shot mid lunar jump", and "Christmas cancelled following flying reindeer massacre".

Says plenty, imv.
