Hurlimann transmission switch

My Hurlimann XT908 has stopped starting, gradually got worse over the last week. I’m sure it’s the shuttle transmission safety switch - does anyone know where it’s located? I’ve been underneath & can’t find anything! Google’s not been any use. Think it’ll be the same as a Same Silver? Any help very appreciated - towing it off is a pain!

If its a manual shuttle with stick to the right, I'm not sure they had a shuttle neutral switch, but may well be wrong on that account as never really had anything to do with Hurlimann tractors. Our Agroplus (manual shuttle), which is similar in many ways to a Same Silver will start with it in gear, but you have to depress the clutch to engage the starter, as the safety switch is on the clutch not gearstick's.

Its the same on the Lamborghini Premium 1600, safety switch on the clutch pedal as well, but that will have a completely different transmission fitted. The Agrotron requires the stick to be in N, but again I'm certain that will also be a completely different transmission to that found in your tractor.

Depending on the age of it , if it is mechanical shuttle early ones had a two terminal switch on the right hand side of the transmission around where the gear linkage goes into the gearbox, usually covered with a rubber boot.
Joining the wires would determine if the switch was faulty.

Thanks for all the pointers I’ll check again tomorrow. I think the clutch switch is ok as the buzzer sounds if pedal isn’t pressed. Starter is sluggish so that’s a possibility.
