What sort of hydraulic pump would I need to power a slurry stirrer?

We used a one that came on a big handler.....could operate it either direction..... Lift it over the top of a 4 ring tower no problem.... It was a branded make....cant think what it was now....quite effective anyway...sorry not much help...

Would need gearing up though.

I think you mean hydraulic motor. Really depends on what power your slurry stirrer needs to operate it.
