I’ve got bugs

This kind of thread seriously worries me. I’m not sure all or any actellic smoke generators are approved for use in stored grain, only for use in empty stores. Please read the directions for use very carefully and only under take insecticide treatment of stored grain if you are qualified.
There’s the potential to seriously contaminate large quantities of grain with some fairly obnoxious chemicals if we aren’t careful and nobody in their right mind wants that.
Just saying. Be careful folks.👍

Used to be able to spray grain with actellic, and mix the dust formulation into it...

The Actellic product label states 'for stores that are intended to contain cereal grains'.

Have just found a hotspot with bugs in a shed about 1000 ton and it is at the back!
front half is absolutely fine back half I am wondering the best plan.
should I move the front half and risk moving the problem to another shed and get someone in to gas it or put it through the cf dryer.
Is feed wheat ok to sell once treated with gas or is there a price adjustment?
cost of gassing?

How big is hot spot ? If it’s only a few tonnes I would move the grain in front of it then spread the hot bit out to cool down then either spray or get it through the drier then away for feed asap
