I wasn't sure which section to put this in .
I found this poor roe buck out in one of our fields this afternoon . I've not seen fly strike on a deer before .

Well done for sorting that out! I have to say fly strike would be fairly unusual in deer simply because there are almost no bits of their bodies they cannot reach to lick and clean up. I wonder if in this instance it started with a wound close to the base of the antlers by fighting with another buck and there was no way for him to reach it.
