Where abouts are you roughly?

Also, how big is your vineyard and what species of birds are a problem? This will make a big difference to what you can do.

Most northern Vinyards were devastated by frost anyway so not worth worrying.

I'm surrounded by vineyards from small boutique size to hundreds of acres. They that have just finished picking what is expected to be a classic vintage. They all cover their rows with nets that are put on when the sugar content of the berries first starts to rise and after doing final leaf thinning and runner removal. Then removed after picking for pruning access.

Parakeets, nets, local/occasional problem thank heavens.
