i phone and galaxy s3 connecting to router

i have my router set with no security
my computers log on no problem
but
my mates i phone and my brothers galaxy phone wont connect to the wi-fi
the router imo has been faultless
but this glitch is putting me off getting a mini ipad or nexus 7
it is broadcasting on all possible networks
it is a belkin router btw

whats the problem?

should be no problem to pic up you wifi if you are not running any security on the router just like your computers
Can they see your router named in the wifi setting on the phone
Setting open wifi setting and click on your named router.
we have never had any problems connecting to the router let it be apple or android

How old is the router? Have you got the model number?

Could you post a pic of your router's wireless settings page? (Obviously obscure any personal details)

Shouldn't be any issue with a router that new
