Looks similar to clips holding headlight lens on some vehicles

That is low mileage at 13k/yr. I put a 2001 diesel GTi 150 to 120k in 2006 - one turbo and quite a few tyres but not much else. Flipped it for a bigger car and regretted it for years after.

It was only doing about 4k a year last few years. Got it to 200k before needing a turbo, then diff bearings went in gearbox, then the second dual mass then it settled again!!! Flipping good cars
