We've had several calls now from companies, Ltd and only incorporated last May (2017), telling us the firm that installed our systems are now bankrupt (lie, they are still operating perfectly well) then telling us the government have made it mandatory to have the inverters inspected (another lie, I checked with the lot that fitted it for us)
Sending a worker to inspect, his details are... ........, well what do you know? He's listed as the director of the company, sole director, and he's the one that's meant to come out.
Apparently the firm that installed for us have had a lot of calls about this very same thing.

Beware folks, there's some dodgy feckers about.

If they are making fraudulent claims, contact the Police.

Why aren't your former installer suing them ?
I can’t imagine the police being interested in a civil complaint.

There’s rogue people on both sides of the renewables fence. We have a client that will not answer the phone or letters for payment of 14kW heat pump, full carcass with 17 rads. The install is immaculate but we can’t get paid.

In 2 weeks he will return home and the heat pump will be missing and sold on. We will resign to the fact we’ve been ripped off.

It happens, just be careful and report these things to relevant accreditation bodies is best.

making fraudulent claims is a criminal offence.

why don't the original supplier get involved, I know I would if someone was going round saying we'd gone bust !

Rumours of people going bust or failing to compete is music to other people’s ears and just here say.

I work on many farms and when the rumour mill starts about one having to downsize and sell some kit spreads like wildfire. Some years are good and some expansion ventures come with unrealised risk, I’ve squashed a few wagging tongues over the years.

Don’t waste your time on these fraudulent companies and report them to the relevant accreditation bodies and they’ll soon disappear. Energy best spent doing other things.

Tittle tattle is one thing, canvassing business by stating fraudulent information such as ' your supplier has gone bust ' is another.

However, like most of these, I think there is more to this story than we are being told......

If you're referring to my first post.
No, there isn't more to it.
It's very simple.
We actually let them come out, just happened to have an electrician on farm doing some work
Funny enough, there's no problem with our system.
I don't think that would have been the case if there wasn't someone in the know there
Flat out claims of bankruptcy are not what I'd call good practice.
It's scare tactics
