IH 1255xl draft rod settings

Would anybody have the relevant section of the workshop manual to show how to correctly set the draft rod on a 1255xl?
The draft isn't lifting the plough when hitting a tough spot I have to do it manually at the moment.

This is what's inside that draft rod.
Unfortunately I haven't got the settings information & I can't find it, I've asked around mates but no one has it !
I lost my 55 series training manual many years ago when I loaned it to someone at another dealer & it disappeared !!!
But just make sure everything is intact inside the rod, then there should be no play on the rod.
I can't remember exactly how you set it up, there's a set length you use then screw the top adjustment so far.

Brilliant stuff, i hope to get working on this on Saturday.
Currently when in draft control the arms won't begin to lift until position lever is pulled all the way back,
according to the photos above it should begin lifting between 7 and 8 so it looks like some adjustment is needed.
