Hi everyone.
I bought a project a 1055 international late 1980s 4wd
My problem is the cab, full it has rust worm. I dnt no the name of the type of the cab iv got. The cab is gone to far to fix.
I was woundering do u no if a 956xl or 1056xl cab or so fit my 1055. What has to b changed to make it fit. The cab is not the full red one with the white top. My gear stick is in the centre of the cab. The xl are over to the right bside the door.
Or what international cab would fix. Thanks for your time

If it's late '80s I'd be surprised if it's a 1055.
On another thread I've just put this picture of my 1983 1056XL I'm working on later this winter.

It's one of the first 56s, and as far as I know they stopped the smaller 55s when these came out in '83.

Someone else might know the difference in mounts etc, but as far as I know all the XL cabs were the same basic frame.

It will probably be the Tinnermam as mentioned, also please do join the IH 6 cylinder group on Facebook, there are so many guys in that group with decades of knowledge.
