It will be closer to 3,5 tonneWeigh around 3 ton
Too heavy to be legal behind the Ranger, given the trailer's likely to be over half a tonne. The flat deck Sekura is normally a bundle of rust and as mentioned above, the gear change set up was very poor.Too many moving parts and lack of greasing. Under slung fuel tanks and electric fuel lift pump behind the rh back wheel.Prone to corrosion in the wiring. If the brake pedals go to the floor, most likely needing the half axles removed to replace the brake piston o rings. And the handbrake .......unlikely to be working......
Has it got TA? If so,that makes it worse, especially if it isn't working right.........
Sorry for the negativity but .........the Sekura cabbed versions were just s@$t!
Would an 885 have the same brake issues? Mine now needs pumping (one side only) to work properlyToo heavy to be legal behind the Ranger, given the trailer's likely to be over half a tonne. Thank youYes. Just the same. Check the reservoir in front of the windscreen is filling and staying mostly filled with oil.If ok,bleed at the trumpet housing. If no better, you can disconnect the brake pipe were it enters the back end and plug the pipe. The pedal should pump hard and hold.If it doesn't,the master cylinder needs attention and if it does, then the 3 o rings need replacing at the brake piston on the bad side.
