Were the Police on site when it was all going on then?
To be fair they were there before us, otherwise a car or two may have been removed by teleporter! The plolice has an idea something was going to happen in the area as a huge number of cars were in the local villages etc trouble is they just didn't know where it was going to happen until it was too late, it all kicked off in Bedford town centre that evening so a lot of the police were there dealing with that.

So Criminal damage, Trespassing, Vandalism etc etc is OK just as long as there is a few of them.

police don't do a thing are just there to stop you doing anything and wait to see if they can get ones with sound system, last time they invaded us there was 4000 of the idiots on wettest night of year a few weeks before harvest still finding crap, every weekend you have to block gate ways, seems we where lucky this weekend

Trouble is if you loose your rag and start smashing cars, who is going to get arrested? Its just a case of being outnumbered you, half a dozen police and two hundred plus party goers turning up, who are they going to nick if you get out of line? Sad but true!

To get the high up shots they climbed up on top of the dryer and bulk bins, shame none of them fell.

All cleared up now, shed stinks of pee and there is the wheat to clean but other than that all done, found quite a few wallets, bit of cash, mobile phones, carrier bag of weed, think its 31 empty nitros oxide cylinders(big oxy sized ones!) and I think they must all wipe their arses on socks as we seem to have odd socks all over the place along with the appropriate landmine!

Well, if you have some wallets and mobile phones I would say it is time to have some fun of your own, particularly if it affects the parents of these people.

I would have got the slurry spreader and taken my chances in court, a good days work wouldn't hurt most of those lazy twots.

TBH you are to be applauded in your restraint, I don't think I would have been able to.

We had a very small "legal" gathering at the bottom of our drive a few years ago, it got out if hand and the road ended up blocked, the first thing I new about it was when my employee rung saying he couldn't get into work, I went down with the loader stuck the forks under the first car in the way (but did not touch it), informed the occupants of what was about to happen, they went ballistic, but all the cars were gone in 5 minutes! A really stupid thing to do on my part but I was so mad at the time.

Easy to say deal them with the JCB etc,but they're off their heads on drugs and probably carrying knives. Better to stand back till they disperse theirselves. Hopefully insurance will cover the damage?

One thing you could do to stir it up is to contract a "suspected" dose of Lepto or Weils disease from your rat infested grain heap and plaster that over the local social media,(or you could put some cattle in the sheds, take more than a sock to clear up after them though.)

The point is that the Police should have dealt with it, and if they are unwilling/unable to deal with these types of incidents we should then be given the right to defend our own property.

Number plates, facial recognition software, tracking Twitter, the police have the powers to pull in a few and find out who set this up. Will they bother? After all it is just a barn in the country with some grain, and that comes out of the ground for free....

the police stop you going any where near, they say they are there just make sure nothing gets out of hand, what chance do half a dosen plod stand against a few thousand idiots off there heads would think every one at a rave could be charged with some thing, just nead a helicopter and some acid would do them the world of good and save us all money

Don't fancy your chances of keeping your gun permits much longer.

Those of you who advocate taking self help steps against this type of event have clearly never been near one or experienced just what sort of people attend.
I have and my advice is to secure your buildings and particularly access to vulnerable sites. Once they are in there is nothing you or the Police can do about it unless the Police can find sufficient numbers. In one case I had experience of it kicked off in the early hours of the morning and there was only four Police Officers on duty between the outskirts of Bath and Yeovil. The Local EHO to his credit went in on his own to see what was going on and then got a warrant from a magistrate and then went in with the Police when they had numbers at about 7 in the morning. By then it was light and the Police had enough bodies to arrest the organisers and seize all of the kit. The organisers were successfully prosecuted for running an unlicensed event and their kit was forfeited.
No more raves in the area for a number of years because they knew they would be dealt with.
