Do people think there will be strong demand for in lamb ewes in the spring.
Looking for some to lamb in mid march. What's the experts view on possible prices?

Depending on what the fat lamb trade does after January 1st, they will either be on fire, or killing money. I wouldn't have thought anyone can tell yet, other than taking a punt.

£50-250/head depending on age, breed, quality and Brexit.... A no deal, WTO brexit means come January we are on course to trade lambs at the much lower world market value rather than the protected EU market values... Southern hemisphere values with Northern hemisphere smaller scale and higher costs, it will not be gruesome.

Nobody knows, I've been tempted to throw a tup in with a field of bm ewes that are meant to be retired, just as punt to see how the market goes.

Yep , cant see where the enthusiasm is coming from this near to Jan 1st , surely they cant dump them all in the fat mid December if a no deal , they wont all be fit enough.
