Infant backpack fit for farming

I don't know if there's a right term for these backpacks you pack an infant into to go walkabout. Anyway, we have a 15 month old and due to a very flaky support network I need one that I can bring her out on the farm in. Did I mention we get a lot of windy wet weather, we do.

One of the mothercare ones and an all in one waterproof thing like the above? Pretty secure, you know you are wearing it though. Serious leg workout picking anything off the floor

Bushbaby Pinnacle here. Don't know if they're still in production, ours was £30 from the charity shop, but it's a proper bit of kit- full waistbelt, struts etc. Not excessively heavy, very comfy (took our 1 year old up a few Alps on foot last summer) and the frame folds flat, which is handy for storage, cause it's quite bulky otherwise.

Highly recommended.

I have the Little Life s2 Carrier, really good and solid and has a good metal frame which can be handy if you need to sit it down. A rain protector and sun shade can be bought which are really handy. Got mine off facebook marketplace for £10.
