We have a lot of prostrate weeds such as yellow vine, bindweed, wireweed & melons which NEVER grow above crop height

Ryegrass is another shît of a weed here in cropping situations & if it’s as high as your crop then you’ve already lost the battle with it . . .

Do you not

in 1988. Wish I'd bought it really.

Only done it with knap sack, coopler peglar with sheild screwed on, not just pushed over nozzle.

Had really impressive results in caulie, which were done at a very late stage. Very low dose of roundup & blue dye. Considering buying a Claxton or Garford. Would like to band spray with Minecto one at the same time. Have a few other ideas too.
We were using a dutch machine designed for inter row work using reglone. Reason we tried round up, was it was a steered by someone riding behind .
We had taken over a bankrupt Nursery stock company and they had an operator who was prepared to sit on this contraption and when we bought it, it was using high pressure nozzles and the operator was regularly sick from the fumes
Amazed he was still living!
we tried a variety of low pressure Low drift nozzles , but never found any thing to work satisfactorily with roundup. We stuck the sprayer on the front of the tractor so it was steered by the driver with carbon filters in the cab and carried on with reglone, and played with a variety of materials. We abandoned the business after 4 Years of banging our heads against a brick wall trying to sell stock against imported Eastern European stock. Today it is nearly all grown in cells
