Intermittent wiper problem john deere

I wondered if anyone can shed any light on a problem i have with the intermittent wiper setting on my 6430 it sets off then stops then moves a little then stops and so on fine on the other two settings except when i switch it off it wont return to base just stops wherever its at. So my thoughts were the wiper motor was fecked so ordered a new one and fitted it still no different so i took the stalk out in the dash and used a tester and all seems good then i tried a different relay but still no different when i use my tester at the motor end and switch it on i get power then it cuts out then more power then cuts out again probably does this 3-4 times to get across the window im confused

It has me totally confused im more p@@ed off i spent £200 on a new wiper motor to be honest

Hi,got the same problem with my 6930 for the last 18 months,swapped motor off another 6930,no good,swapped stalk as well,still no good,asked dealer about it,and they’ve never had one do it before,so been using her without it,normal and fast working fine

Yea my normal and fast work ok as well. Does yours stop anywhere on window when you switch it off or does it return to the side of the window

When I put it to go it stops about 3 times to do a swipe,then if I switch it off it stops half way,so got to turn it to 1 to come back to side,,very frustrating

Lol wish i had now would of saved the cost of the motor at least

Now Then..
The wiper switch sends signals to the BIF, which then sends a signal to PC0. It's PC0 which drives the wiper motor. The switch can be checked by looking at the BIF on the Command Center

Probably way off but have you all made sure the earth for the wiper motor is good?

Thanks ive looked in the command centre and cant find any issues if i pull the relay it just does exactly the same which is rather confusing

Premium im pulling the relay for the front wiper

The relay is possibly there for the second speed. Is yours before or after the 2008 serial number break??
