With the lighter nights etc feeling a bit more motivated, how big of a job is it to do the torque amplifier and the handbrake, plus is there anything else we should look at whilst we are in there, started the old girl today, cracks up straight away and been sat since oct,

Think from dim distant memory, on mine, the costlyest part was a shaft, in the ta, handbrake fairly simple (IF you have small hands) ha ha

I may be dreaming as it is 25 years sincce I had anything to with that model, but I think you can do both from outside

Hand brake can be done from the out side ,yes you need small hands

Handbrake can certainly be done from outside and if you are lucky it’s been done already and the previous man has refitted it with r clips instead of split pins
