International b275 leaking hydraulic oil

Hi, before I start dismantling everything, I just wondered if there was anything simple to check? My early, 1959, b275 has just started pouring hydraulic oil out somewhere below the selector valve block or perhaps from the front of the base of the top casing over the axle. They are so close, I cannot see from which! The trouble with taking the selector valve block off is that I won't be able to start the engine to check the latter. Any ideas?

is it the feed pipe that is leaking ?
if not it will be valve or mounting gasket, but
hydraulic top with have to come off to get at valve, if you unbolt it and lift it off, take lid off under the seat and disconnect the chain, the valve will unbolt and pull out

Mine did this and it was the valve mounting gasket that was the problem.
It was possible to remove the valve to replace it but not easy.
It now leaks from the o ring on the suction filter but that’s another story.
Maybe if you degreased it and dried it out you could see the source of the leak.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
