That can’t be right,he was 12th of 15.Remember there’s judges there from all 4 countries ;)
Put like this it was the poorest run on Friday AM his dog went to the release pen 3 times before lifting sheep judges seem to be far harder on the Saturday dogs. The talk of the hole thing was it was rigged to get him there in the 1st place.

His Friday run wasnt great but there was nothing on Saturday to knock it out, no one expected him to still be there after finishing Friday in 10th (including kevin) but that's the way it went, first two runs on Saturday made everyone think it was going to be very few left from Friday in the 15 but then the sheep didnt give much chance for more good scores as they became very stubborn in the ring for shedding and singling as the day wore on. Fair play to him, despite the struggles he had on the outrun he got the dog to the sheep and finished the run.

Oh come on,there’s no chance judges from the other countries would rig things to get him there.

What did you think of the site for the trial? I would not say the sheep where any different the hole trial in fact a lot saying how easy they were to shed.
I thought the rough ground didnt suit the sheep, a hill breed would have been better to me personally as they would have got through the rough ground better than the texels at the top end.

They most definitely got worse as the day went on, the best time to run both days was just after the pens had been filled, either first thing in the morning or directly after the break for doubles. And in the ring they were as tough to shed as I've seen for a while, when they were at the end to be shed they wouldn't wait and ran past the dog/handler when they tried to make a gap time after time, if they didnt do that then a collar would mill round and join them. That and the fact only 3 people got them shed in the supreme and only two of those penned (both English handlers) tells you that they weren't easy to deal with at hand.
