iPhone 6 problems

Using one of these phones and having some problems.

Data keeps dropping out and end up losing the network for about 30 secs.

It's also not possible for me to switch on my caller id. When I try to toggle the switch to green nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Battery does not seem great. So far not impressed.

The caller ID issue is likely to be set by your network provider.
Battery life on any phone is greatly reduced if you are in a poor signal area and you move around a lot. The phone spends all it's time searching for a signal. Probably explains the network dropping out too.

IPhone 6 last half a day z 3 will last a day and a bit same usage, if any if anyone one disputes this they are wrong, I have countless friends with this phone who all complain about battery life and I have done test myself
How can yiu have confidence in a phone company who can't even get a battery sorted.

I charge my iPhone 6 every other day and even then it's not flat, it's on 24 hrs a day, I only turn on the Bluetooth when I'm in the truck or tractor and I have the settings for mobile data set to a minimum. I'm happy with the battery life, it's no worse than any other phone I've had.

You had the same issue with a couple of 4S iPhones, yet mine always lasted a good day of fairly intensive use. I still have the same iPhone now as I did then and the battery still lasts as well as it ever did. I don't use it anything like as much now and on quieter days I can get two days out of a single charge. I could only manage that during intensive use with the Mophi Juicepack [extra battery in a case] attached.

If the phone is heating up, it is doing something intensive. I find that using navigation really eats the battery and, in that case, I can indeed flatten the battery in three or four hours and it does get very hot. But so does the Nexus 4 Android phone and the Nokia 820 which I have again started using again. [I like swapping phones now and again]

Must say that since the Windows8.1 updates to the Nokia, it is as good a phone as any and I think I actually prefer it [marginally] to the Apple and Android varieties.

Iphone 6 on EE now is working extremely well. 'Call Failure' got as high as 1/3 of all calls made at one point but now a call failure might happen once per week. 4g signal virtually everywhere.

Only problem I have is it just won't work on some wifi networks no matter what you do.

EE has gone to hell in a handbasket in mid-west Wales. No 3G today and no talk signal some days. It used to be so good before the merger with T-Mobile and excellent until recently. I'm betting that they have shut some masts off. Either that or they are upgrading very slowly while doing some engineering work.
Unless they pull their finger out I shall be changing to Giff-gaff soon. I know that 02, which transmits Giff-Gaff and Tesco, is excellent in this area.

Am absolutely sick of EE... Had 2 bars on my phone this morning yet still a call coming thru went straight to voicemail
It does my head in!
I have between 2&4 bar all over farm yards and surrounding fields but I struggle to make or receive any calls until I switch off the 3G & mobile data off then it's fine.
