I’ve put a few threads on here about wastage of various governments inside the uk so I thought I’d share this beauty from the Irish government where they actually used the agricultural dept to get quotes for bringing the pets from Ukraine to Ireland.
my question, did the €800.000 come out of the agri budget ?

At the out break of WWll, all kennels of hounds, gundogs, etc. in the UK were sent a notice to destroy their dogs 'to conserve food supplies'. I met an old man who had been a kennel boy in a big kennel in north east Scotland. He told me they had shot 450 dogs in one day. The kennel was run alongside a knackery, so not much food saved. Just stating a fact. Different times, different attitudes

I’m not sure if we will be able to sustain our modern attitudes when facing these foes that have attitudes from the 40’s, the 1240’s 😔

The more I see of the countries leaders and civil servants spending in wales, Scotland, Ireland I’m convinced they are fanatics and the farming media will not touch the subject !
it seems like the farmers weekly, farmers guardian, Nfu, most well paid big influencers are being told to keep it quiet 🤐
( climate spending in wales £4.8 billion, climate spending in Scotland £4.7 billion, £60 million stole off Scottish agriculture budget and not a mention )

banjo, the "idoits" run the asylum? i bet if you asked most mps, councillors a very simple but important question, that is how much interest repayments is the UK currantly paying a year on the nations debt, most wouldnt know and more morrying not care? As if the "gravey train " of spending, promising this that and the other with money we havnt got, but add yet more to the nations debt and thus debt interest repayments?
