It’s the adigor that’s expensive isn’t it the actual axial while far from cheap isn’t extortionate

Its by far the kindest of that type of chemical.
The adigor is now pre mixed with the axial because they cottoned on to the fact that because it was so expensive a lot of people were using cheaper generic alternatives.

Yes that is what I was going to say. There's still plenty of time yet for foxtrot/oscar and it's a fraction of the price.
But probably harsher and possibly slightly less effective?

I’ve always found it much harsher, have gone back to axial now.

Yes harsher but aslong as the crop is in good health it's not a problem.
Don't know whether it's less efficient or if it's just the early cut off means late germinating oats slip through the net.

Would say foxtrot is harsher on barley. Used to apply it alone and not in tank mix as I was a wuss.
Axial is deadly expensive but I would say relatively gentle on the crop.

If you apply these products to kill grass weeds in barley, they will knock the crop more.
If you apply them to get rid of barley volunteers in wheat, it will do bugger all to the barley.

Absolutely true.
You try killing volunteer barley in wheat, apply what you like, you never win. Seen it a number of times, shrugged off atlantis, pacifica, broadway star, the lot. Fudging triticale is another one. Stuff seems to grow for fun and ends up poking above whatever crop you are supposed to be growing. Even saw it in beet once (thankfully not mine).

Be aware that there will be a period after Axial Pro to allow the crop to recover before doing broad leafed weeds, so plan carefully bearing in mind the cut off timings for hormones.
