We had 4 loads of wheat went in last week

And yet 'advisors and experts' are talking about food rationing.

Ha! Ignore my post then. The gap between maize & wheat prices is widening so I can't imagine they will be buying much more wheat beyond what's already contracted.

Not so rosy for ethanol prices either unless HM Govt decides to increase the petrol blend rate from E5 to E10 which I doubt in the current situation.

They need some wheat in the mix so that the by-product has enough protein in it to be sellable into the animal feed market.

Yep delivered circa 30 loads of wheat into it this week. It’s defiantly partially running on maize, there was a large maize boat in last week up here!
