Is half the web down today?

TFF seems to be one of the few websites I can access today. Can't get BBC or Grainman just now. Various websites been running slowly or not at all.

I have also had trouble with Virgin earlier today, and it is intermittently slow at the moment, keep having to resort to dongle over home BB

Same here. Around lunch to about two thirty I could only get a handful of sites I use regularly. Back to normal now though.

Coincides with spikes in solar activity reaching us.
I have an app on my phone which tells me when there is a high likelihood of being able to see the Northern Lights. The times you refer to is when I was told there was a spike.
