I see a senior NATO admiral reckons we will be at war with Russia within 20 years and that conscription will have to return to make up fighting force numbers.

plus the Nuclear Armageddon Clock (currently at 90 seconds to midnight) is due to be reset on 23rd January

Jeez, modern life, eh?

War looking very likely unfortunatly, utter madness that its even on the cards. Humans dont seem to have evolved at all, we still think killing each other in huge numbers will solve problems. Star wars fans will be in for treat !

Is Putin still going to be in power ? Far more likely that it will be a war with china imvho. The younger generation will have to grow up very quickly if they are too be any use in a war, they in general are far too soft and cosseted. Perhaps the west's main hope is for it to be a cyber war and that we still have the upper hand in that area.

The first tactical nuclear bomb will start a chain reaction of nuclear strikes, who is alive after will be pot luck. Better to be directly under the first i reckon, world will not be worth living in.

To be honest I can’t see there being an actual war between America & either Russia or China, America have suffered too many humiliating defeats to get involved in yet another actual war, their preferred option is to now use a proxy country which will be the case with Taiwan.
Mindless morons in Europe led by the dozy head of NATO want to be very careful they don’t get dragged into something they end up having to deal with alone.

I'm not sure that either side would start a nuclear war, we all know there is no winners, the danger would be from a nutter starting one who would rather destroy the world than lose . I expect several countries are trying to get control of control systems to stop launches, lots will be going on behind the scenes we don't know about

Don’t think so, no Western country would be stupid enough to send a nuke into Russia after they drop one into Ukraine.

Interestingly, Trump seemed to have some sort of rapport with Kim Jung-Un

However, he didn’t with the Ayatollah in Iran … who seem intent on provoking nuclear armed Pakistan

My fear is that Oct 7th is starting to set off a number of chain reactions

Pakistan and Iran have both made statements saying they aren't attacking the other but terrorists within the others area, a pretty dangerous game to play

Wrong again. You don`t see that your own bias has led you to the wrong conclusion again. It is because the Russians did not want NATO expansion because it interfered with their own aims. Instead their stupidity has fuelled more NATO expansion.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Hasn’t that gone well!

NATO seem very intent on ratcheting up the pressure for a likely war actually occurring, this sadly at the very time there’s senile moron in the White House being manipulated by vested interests.

Have you ever visited a Baltic state and asked the people about Russian oppression and their continual interference in domestic affairs? Clearly your level of ignorance knows no bounds.

Russians are no friends of mine, America couldn’t face Russia & China getting too close as they were going & challenge American superiority so something had to be done about it, trouble is nothing the Americans do goes to plan these days.

he didnt say there would be a war, he said we needed to be prepared to fight one, different thing. Its kind of what you think the armed forces should be doing all the time. obviously we know this isnt true due to all the cut backs.

i see we currrently cant supply any of our ships at sea,

https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/britain-has-zero-active-naval-supply-ships-for-first-time/

i dont think we need conscription, we arent short on basic squadies, its all the speaclist skills like engineers, mechanics, sparkies where they dont pay them enough compared to civilian jobs.
