Its not the same because UTTO generally is not suitable for any engines. I say 'generally' because some less than clever person at either MF marketing or Morris [where the oil is blended, has a super universal in cans that say it contains UTTO. That's their fluid recommended for MF transmissions which is actually re-branded Morris Super Versitrac 10W/40 SUTO [one T] which stands for Super Universal Tractor Oil. The alternative abbreviation, which I prefer, is STOU which is just a word shuffle meaning Super Tractor Oil Universal.

I surmise that the reason they call it a UTTO on the can is because, while it is very suitable for up to tier3 engines, it is not suitable for newer engines with Cats, DPF's and Adblue. So they sensibly adhere to KISS [keep it simple, stupid] to avoid confusing people.

In your case a 10W/30 super universal is completely interchangeable with a UTTO [universal tractor transmission oil, two T's]

Sutto will be fine for the transmission 👍

I ran sutto in the gearbox of my Deutz for a couple of services, which is utto recommended. For some reason the brakes squealed with sutto, but maybe it was just cheap oil without the correct additives 🤷‍♀️
