Yes , transmission oil is my goal .Its not the same because UTTO generally is not suitable for any engines. I say 'generally' because some less than clever person at either MF marketing or Morris [where the oil is blended, has a super universal in cans that say it contains UTTO. That's their fluid recommended for MF transmissions which is actually re-branded Morris Super Versitrac 10W/40 SUTO [one T] which stands for Super Universal Tractor Oil.
I surmise that the reason they call it a UTTO on the can is because while it is very suitable for up to tier3 engines, it is not suitable for newer engines with Cats, DPF's and Adblue. So they sensibly adhere to KISS [keep it simple, stupid] to avoid confusing people.
In your case a 10W/30 super universal is completely interchangeable with a UTTO [universal tractor transmission oil, two T's]
So are you for transmission oil there's no difference ?Its not the same because UTTO generally is not suitable for any engines. Sutto will be fine for the transmissionSo are you for transmission oil there's no difference ?
Both a super universal tractor oil and universal tractor transmission oil are interchangeable and suitable for use in transmissions and hydraulic systems. So are you for transmission oil there's no difference ?
Maybe you used the cheaper 15W/30 STOU/SUTO? This is noticeably more viscous when cold that 10W/30 STOU or any UTTOI’ve put suto in our Valtra and during cold weather the hydraulics are far more sluggish until it warms up.
